📢 Lovable 2.0 Has Landed: Built to Scale

Source: Lovable

⚡️ TL;DR:
Lovable 2.0 is a full-stack upgrade.
Smarter with Chat Mode, collaborative with multiplayer workspaces and safer with built-in security scans.

A New Era for Builders Starts Now

Lovable just got a major upgrade - and it’s not just a UI refresh.

With the release of Lovable 2.0, you now get a smarter AI experience, collaborative multiplayer workspaces and stronger built-in security - all designed to help you build production-ready apps better.

This update isn’t a patch - it’s a new foundation for where Lovable is headed next. Here’s everything that’s changed and why now’s the perfect time to explore the platform again (or for the first time).

Chat Mode Agent: Build Smarter, Think Further

The new Chat Mode Agent brings a deeper layer of intelligence to Lovable.

This isn’t the prompt-and-pray AI you’re used to. Chat Mode doesn’t edit your code - instead, it helps you think through your project, debug errors, query your database and make smarter decisions before you commit changes.

It’s agentic - meaning it can take multi-step reasoning actions like:

  • Searching files

  • Inspecting logs

  • Planning database changes

  • Answering project questions contextually

Perfect for brainstorming, planning and diagnosing before you break anything.

Multiplayer + Workspaces: Build Together

Lovable is now collaborative by default.

Every subscription is now tied to a workspace, making it easier to collaborate on projects, share resources and centralize billing.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Pro users: Get a personal workspace and can invite up to 2 collaborators per project (collaborators use the project owner’s credits).

  • Teams users: Can add up to 20 members with roles like Owner, Admin and Editor. All users share a single credit pool and have access to team projects.

This is perfect for founders, startups and teams who want to ship together - no clunky handoffs or scattered work.

Security Scan: Build with Confidence

Launching something public? You’ll now see a Security Scan before publishing (when Supabase is connected).

Lovable will check for potential vulnerabilities, making it easier to catch common mistakes before they go live. This is just the beginning of the focus on making vibe coding more secure by default.

Everything Else That’s New

New Brand & UI

Refreshed Lovable’s look with a bolder identity and cleaner interface. It’s now easier to focus, navigate, and feel confident in your build space.

🔧 Dev Mode

Want full control? You can now edit your code directly inside Lovable with Dev Mode. Great for power users who want to go deeper when needed.

🎨 Visual Edits

The visual editing tools just got more powerful. Tweak layouts, styles and spacing without writing CSS. Faster. More precise.

🌐 Custom Domains

You can now buy and connect domains directly in Lovable - no need to hop between platforms. Over 10,000 domains have been set up already.

Explore the new Lovable. Kick the tires. Build something weird. And form your own opinion.

🫣 “This Sucks!“ and Other Useful Feedback

Source: GPT 4o

⚡️ TL;DR:
Negative feedback hurts - but it helps more.
Your MVP isn’t a final verdict. It’s a question. Let users answer it honestly, and use Lovable to iterate fast and keep moving forward.

When Feedback Hurts (But Helps)

You finally ship your MVP. You’re proud. You post it.

And then someone says: “This feels clunky.”

Or worse: “Why does this even exist?”

Ouch. 😬

But here’s the thing - negative feedback isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of something better.

This week, we’re digging into how to handle, learn from and grow through tough feedback - without losing momentum (or your sanity).

Why Negative Feedback Is Actually a Gift

Negative feedback doesn’t mean your idea is bad. It means you just learned something you didn’t know before.

Your MVP isn’t supposed to be perfect - it’s meant to be directional. It exists to help you figure out what matters to users. And sometimes, that clarity only comes when someone tells you what’s not working.

Here’s How to Make It Work for You

1. Detach your ego

You are not your MVP. It’s a test, not a tattoo. Treat feedback as data, not a judgment.

2. Find the signal

Look past the tone and extract what they’re actually saying. Is it about usability? Clarity? Value?

“I don’t get what this does.” → Your value prop isn’t clear.

“It feels empty.” → Maybe you need sample content or better onboarding.

3. Ask follow-ups

If you can, message back: “Appreciate the honesty - what part felt off to you?”

People respect builders who want to learn.

4. Group the themes

One angry comment? Maybe a mood.

Five people confused about the same button? Time to fix the button.

Use Lovable to Iterate Fast

One of the best parts of using Lovable? You can respond to feedback almost instantly.

Try prompts like:

  • “Simplify the layout and add more white space.”

  • “Clarify the value proposition in the hero section.”

  • “Add tooltips to explain each feature in the UI.”

You don’t have to start over. You just ship smarter the second time.
